At Aspen Light Imaging, we take the security of your private information seriously. We use the latest encryption methods to insure that your personal information and credit card data are safe all the way from your computer to our order processing center. You will see this security take effect as soon as you go to the checkout area of our E-Store.

Depending on which browser and platform you are using, you'll see some indication of security activation at the bottom of your browser window. Usually this is a tiny padlock that appears to be closed or locked. You can double click the security icon to get confirmation that the page is secured.

You may also confirm the status of our Digital Certificate issued by the Comodo Group for online security. This certificate verifies that you are connected to Aspen Light Imaging's web server and that your information is being secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Just click on the seal on any store page to see the current status.

Even though we've done our best to provide a safe, secure shopping environment, we understand that some users would still rather not send their personal data over the Internet. We respect that concern and hope you will still feel free to place your order using postal mail, fax, or telephone. Please contact us to arrange an alternative ordering method.

About Privacy

Aspen Light Imaging does not release its customer information to third-parties, either electronically or by any other method. From time to time we may send mailings about products of interest to our customers. If you prefer not to receive these mailings, just contact us by mail, phone, or e-mail and we'll remove you from our list.

Our E-Store supports a "Customer Account" feature. This feature allows frequent customers to check out quickly by automatically filling in forms with data they have previously saved. This data is protected the same as all other customer data and is not released to third-parties.

If a user elects to use our "Tell-a-Friend" referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. Aspen Light Imaging will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit our site. This information is not stored by Aspen Light Imaging and will not be used to contact the friend in the future.

About Browser "cookies"

A browser "cookie" is a very small piece of data stored on your hard drive and is used by our shopping software to store the items in your shopping basket. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once you close your browser, the cookie automatically expires and is removed.
