Selasphorus rufus

Rufous hummingbirds are found throughout North America. They winter in Mexico and migrate north as far as Alaska for breeding in the summer. Known as feisty, they will drive away “trespassers” much larger than themselves from nesting or feeding sites. These animal "paintings" were created with a computer.
